Action RPG (From a Tutorial)
This is me posting a step along my journey in learning to make games with Unity. Also testing how itch.io works.
I purchased a Humble Bundle of Unity tutorials made by Zenva Academy. This is the result of following the Action RPG Development in Unity for Beginners tutorial.
Obviously this is not an original work. I'm just following steps and writing code while watching videos. There is no menu. There is only one level and one enemy, and nothing useful happens when you die or kill the enemy. The mouse cursor disappears, so you'll have to press the escape key to get it back in the browser version, or Alt+F4 to close it in the Windows version. No sound. The animations are a little lame, and there are no animations for characters getting damaged, or blocking, or moving diagonally. Although it's supposedly an RPG, there aren't any actual RPG elements like a story, or an inventory, or levelling up with a skill tree. This is as far as the tutorial got. I might add things later. I might also use this as a starting point for another game that I animate myself.
